So, what kind of stuffs do people want me to rabble on about? Are there any rules and regulations that need to be adhered to?
1. GitS vs. The Matrix. I'm getting the impression that everyone thinks the Watchoutican'tspellyournameski brothers stole all the ideas in the Matrix from Ghost in the Shell. Can I succesfully defend The Matrix? Bear in mind that I actually enjoyed the sequels, unlike, um, everyone else. And that I don't actually own any copies of them in order to rewatch them, because my parents do. And that I'm too lazy/tight to buy some for myself. 2. Lexx. Yeah, most people think it sucks. But can I convince them to watch it? 3. Something non-anime, because I'm in danger of making every single article about anime and coming off sounding like a complete twonk. 4. Something completely different, because I should never under any circumstances reveal what my next article is about. And also because you hate all the above ideas. 5. Stop writing for that poncy website and do some programming instead, like you're meant to be doing. 6. Save all your article writing abilities for the new TIB, because I'll be head newsmonkey/progamming/gaming article writer person. 7. Decide whether you're talking in the first or thrid person, and avoid changing my mind in the middle of his sentence. 8. All of the above. 9. A recording of the graphics card fan in my computer doing its motorcycle impression. OH GOD PLEASE MAKE IT STOP. |

Anyone who thinks Lexx sucks is clearly thicker than the thickest ever thing on record and someone should contact the guinness book of records immediately. |

6. Save all your article writing abilities for the new TIB, because I'll be head newsmonkey/progamming/gaming article writer person. Games stuff will be on TIB? What will happen to Acorn Arcade? Acorn Arcade is one of my favourite sites and it has a cool domain. |

But it's been the plan for about 20 years that we'd merge the two, because we're too lazy to update both |

Also there's a few tweaks I could make to tidy the site up.
Eg, there's two HTML, HEAD and BODY tags on the forum pages, which confuses NetSurf a bit. Also the BODY margin can be specified in CSS. (NetSurf doesn't heed the attributes on the BODY tag.) There's also an annoyingly noisy GIF at the top of the separator between the navigation and main columns. |

1. GitS vs. The Matrix. Well I saw GitS years before Matrix came out, so I can understand it. But then again, everything is based off everything else, and I'm sure if you were pedantic enough, you'd find some 1950s thing by Isaac Asimov or someone where the similar idea had been presented, and therefore was presumably stolen for GitS etc. I prefer to think of them as different implementations/interpretations of the same general theme, and thus not in conflict.
Incidentally, anime. GitS, Akira, fine, whatever. They're all good. But nothing - NOTHING - can beat Cowboy Bebop for the title of Greatest Anime Series Ever |

Maybe all the news could be posted to TIB and the Acorn Arcade site could just filter them to get all the stories about games. |

Anyone who thinks Lexx sucks is clearly thicker than the thickest ever thing on record and someone should contact the guinness book of records immediately. The original mini-series of 4 was excellent, but the "TV-ised" series which followed sucked big time. |

I could even do an epic GITS vs. GITS vs. GITS vs. GITS [1]. But that would be taking things too far
[1] Manga vs. 1st film vs. 2nd film vs. SAC series. Haven't seen the manga yet, but the films and series seem very different from each other. |

Does the fact NTS is attracting a higher class of reader mean we now have to research our articles properly?

I guess they have toned it down a bit for the series, then.
