Andrew can you tell me if NetSurf is any better now? I've added an align=left on that table cell although it shouldn't need it really.
Yeah, it aligns to the left now :)

I use Windows XP Pro.
:( I feel sorry for you :(

tlsa: It is an test version 21 of NetSurf according to my records ;)
It is an old version where http:// urls can be fetched. The latest version is way too buggy :(

Maybe it's a cunning feature to make sure there isn't only one message on the page.

I take it this would be a bad time to tell you that the sections are broken? :P

It is the change in forum that has caused that. This site relies to heavily on the forum :P

There are no controls on this page for navigating through the pages of the thread. Also, could you add the controls to the top as well as the bottom of the page?

When you post a reply, clicking "View your message" takes you you the first page of the thread even when your post was on the 2nd page.

I'm just getting started. ;)

* When a post replies to a post on a previous page, the "in reply to message #..." link does not work.

* When replying to a post the "in reply to meaasge" on the previous post is written but the link is removed.

You can't type &#8226; to get a bullet point and when you do and you click "Preview message" a bullet point appears in the text box, instead of the propper code.

Why would you want codes in the text box? Any weird HTML entities should be automatically converted when you post, so just use the bullet point as normal in the textbox.

Hmmm - I wrote that with !Chars, using Oregano. When I view the page, it shows up a a little square. How does it show up on other browsers?

Yay! Page navigation controls are back! Is there any chance you could add a link at the top of the page to tell the browser to move down to the bottom of the page, where the navigation controls are?

I get a question mark.

Best not to use funny characters anyway. You can use the standard HTML for lists in here, so if you want bullets do that :).

Yes, I know about them but I don't tend to use them because RISC OS browsers use coloured blob graphics for bullet points in lists and they are anti-aliased to a white background. I thought of using &#8226; because thats what google uses for it's list to the right of the text box.

Use &middot; instead? (&bull; sometimes work on RISC OS browsers, sometimes not).

OK, not that they seem to work ATM...

Look at the title of this page also :P It might want changing ;)
I think it is the title from <a href="<a href="http://forums.inspiredgaming.com/&quot;&gt;http://forums.inspiredgaming.com/">http://forums.inspiredgaming.com/">http://forums.inspiredgaming.com/</a></a>
I'd change it, but all the admin controls seem to have vanished ;)

Yay for database access!

Looks like there's still a URL parsing problem...

&#8226; works on Oregano 1&2 and Browse.

Edit: Yay! We're back to "Icon Bar" forums. :)

More bugs:

* If somone posts a new topic to a forum, then on the forum list the "Last Post" entry for that forum is not updated with the new posters username. It works fine for replies but not for new topics.

* Clicking "Reply to this message" puts the quoted mesage you are replying to in the text box.

There's also a problem with the 'hiding' system on the forum index page. Firstly, the Site Comments and Staff only forums are still visible after hiding the "Other forums" section.

Secondly, I noticed that after hiding the "General" and "TIB Sections" sections, and then the "Other forums" section, that the "General" section became visible again.
