Yeah that's just a bug in my HTML parser thingy, that's pretty easy to fix don't worry :).

The main reason I'm so slow with these fixes is that it's such a pain in the arse to roll them out. There are 5 copies of this forum online and making a change means I need to update all of them (including any database changes) which is a real pain.

Is this forum going to be a commercial product at some point?

Surely you coud write some form of script/program to update the different copies for you? You could even make a 'template' database updater program, where all you do is modify it each time to add/remove/rename/etc different fields, and then the program gets run several times, each time for a different site.

Yeah I've already started writing one of those, it's not quite as easy as it sounds though.

31. The inaccurate page counts are back - this is listed as having 3 pages, when it actually has 4.

32. More URL bugs!

www.ofla.info

www.ofla.info

<a href="http://www.ofla.info">www.ofla.info</a>

<a href="<a href="http://www.ofla.info">http://www.ofla.info">www.ofla.info</a></a>

etc.

Looks like it's nesting the tags again, where it spots a www.ofla.info and automatically sticks tags round it.

Even though according to the RFCs, the maximum length of email addresses was supposed to be 64 characters including both the domain, the ampersat, and the local part :P

What? Grrr.

/me slaps RFCs for letting you have domain names that won't work as email addresses

Are you sure there's a limit? I can't find any mention of one :|

Surely, surely you wouldn't want to use that domain as an e-mail address... :(

What's wrong with it? It's a nice domain name :P

Anyway, if I didn't use that one I'd have to register another, which costs £££.

Well, don't expect any e-mails from me :P

Actually, that might be why you bought the domain :o

Notice how I carefully said "*was* supposed to be". I think they dropped it in subsequent RFCs; however, IIRC it was the reason why some software such as ArgoNet's Posty and NewsAgent had problems, because both expected 64 character maximum email length (one in the address book, one in a buffer for storing header info).
