It's not StrongARM compatible (although I thought the error occurred when trying to run the game). There was a patch that you might try looking for.

This is the RiscPC version, right? There was an A5000 version too (that's the version I have).

It's possible that SC2000 won't run on the StrongArm. ISTR a program that would let certain apps run on a SA, although it's name escapes me right now..

StrongGuard.

http://www.armclub.org.uk/products/strongguard/

According to their database, SC2000 should run without StrongGuard - but I guess it's possible they didn't try the installer. Try turning the cache off and then running the installer and see what happens.

Thanks for the help everyone. I found a strongarm patch for it here:

http://home.wanadoo.nl/tvdb/

But it only works on the installed game. I'll try the cache and see what happens smile

As with all Krisalis titles, the legitimate way to get them working on your machine would be to purchase our Krysalis Gold CD. Not only does this provide enhanced upgrades for all Krisalis titles to allow them to work on OS4/StrongArm, but also provides many complete games. Additionally, we would be able to help you with the installation problems you mention.

Hope this helps,

Andrew

Sounds good - do they work on the Iyonix?

I don't think legitimate is the right word - there's nothing stopping you from using third party patches to get a legal copy of a game working on a StrongARM. wink
