As the sysadmin we usually use was away for a couple of weeks, I got someone to drive from Brighton to check it in case the drives were fucked or something... and it had just powered down. Dunno why, but he just switched it on and it worked.

I'll have to monitor the temperature, but as the cooler of the two drives is currently running below room temperature I don't think it's that. Maybe a power brownout, or the PSU going buggerup? We'll see I guess.

Typically, it went down during a 5-day outage of my Internet connectivity, and Bob called for me to check if it was working while I was at my parent's house, who happened to have lost their Internet connection at the time. I had to use the shitty browser on my 'phone just to see if web pages were being served unhappy
