Best RTD since The Second Coming?
Best thing RTD's written since he realised he isn't writing for Why Don't You any more. i.e. the only decent thing he's written
BTW, he didn't write all of it - the guy from Robin fucking Hood did half the work. So he's upped his game too.
This series is really, really, really good.
I was watching it and thinking, it's actually as good as some of the American stuff I watch. It's not quite Whedon at his best, but you could put them on a double bill and not be ashamed. ________ Cheers, Rich.

Yeah, I've said often enough that Torchwood can be a bit hit and miss - but that the rubbish episodes are worth putting up with for the good stuff.
And this series really shows the truth in that: All the previous poor episodes were definitely worth putting up with to get us here, because this is 'kin brilliant stuff.
And to some extent, I'm thinking it helps substantiate my belief that Doctor Who would be better with longer, multi-episode stories (as it used to be) instead of its current format (2 parters aside).

Torchwood is in general terms just wicked. It's also like any other series on tv being that some episodes are fantastic, some okay and other just hitting wide of the mark.
However Day 5 has left me wondering if this is the end of the line....perhaps that that is what we are all meant to be wondering.
Only two of the original Torchwood team cast members left now. If the next storyline is as good as this one(assuming there will be another), it will be one amazing show to watch.
