...in the cupboard. I have a Digital Databank BBS sweater in my cupboard.
It's the same as the one that sysop John Stonier is wearing in this photo: http://web.archive.org/web/19970706031032/http://www.pilgrim.demon.co.uk/irc/photos/gr2.jpg |

...in the cupboard. I've got one of those somewhere, too.
(the t-shirt, not the cupboard. Well, I do have a cupboard, too...) |

Aww, now I'm envious. I do still occasionally wear my old Acorn t-shirt(s) and clan sweatshirt, although I seem to be a bit fatter than I used to be /blush. |

Nice try but that's obviously been photoshopped Or maybe he bought it at some point via the Cafe Press link ("Buy Swag") on the Icon Bar's home page? It's been there long enough that some mug loyal punter must have used it at some point. |

Yep, I like to bring out my Clan t-shirt every once in a while (the black one with the RGB-lighted acorn on the breast and "Clan" across the back). It's getting a little scruffy now and seems to have shrunk slighly with age.
I should also have a sweatshirt somewhere but I've no idea where. I suspect my mum has it. |

Last time I saw mine, it had large holes in it, so I suspect it's a duster now.

sweatshirt I wore mine to a 40th birthday party at the beginning of this year - and some of the younger ones there vaguely remembered the Archimedes from school. |

EDIT: actually I don't remember if it came from the Clan or from some other promo around the launch of the - anybody shed any light on this?

Hmm. It's been so long that I don't recall - that PV photo looks like the right sort of thing, but I seem to remember it having a much larger print.
Interestingly, Chris's Acorns also doesn't list the black Clan t-shirt, although I think at some point I also had the white one that he lists.
Incidentally, I've just made my first custom order from SpreadShirt, using my own designs and their basic Men's Classic t-shirt model. If those shirts are any good when they arrive (fit, quality, print, etc) then I might make myself an Acorn-themed t-shirt

...in a random box.
I also found some old cheque books and paying in books, including the one with the first cheque banked in the Soft Rock Software account on 30th June 1989. (I found the bank statement a year or two back)

Incidentally, it's a lot more yellow than that picture suggests - wherever you see white in the photo, there is none on the mousemat. |

Yep, old boxes of junk can be treasure troves. While I was busy selling all my accumulated BBC and Acorn stuff away (or giving most of the hardware to the computer museum in Cumbria), I did manage to find a signed TEK 1608 print which I decided to keep hold of don't recall if it was from a show or from some special offer for buying TEK, but sadly I never did get the game to actually run properly.

Add to that find a 1 meg VRAM module and four what I guess are SIMMs from a RiscPC, but they aren't marked as nMB RAM and I couldn't be bothered to look up the codes on them before storing them away again, ready for me to forget where and find them in amazement again at some arbitrary time in the future. |

Both are yellowed. Ditto the mouse mat, although it got very yellowed and I think the plastic top surface started to crack, so it's been long since thrown out. |
