I told a friend of mine about the TIB forums and he said
So I look at the top five threads, and they consist mainly of smileys with the occasional 'hmm'. What is this, some kind of content-free site?!

Technically it's not the firewall, otherwise you wouldn't be able to view web pages on this server either. You're just in the hosts.deny file.

Please re-send your request using the correct details, in triplicate, where they will be filed in a peat bog for several years.

Or just try it now.

Check your IP at http://www.houseofmabel.com/test.html; I've done a search for the IP address you gave and it's definitely not in there!

Are you sure you've got FTPc set up right - passive mode on and all that?

Hmm, dunno what to say - you're not blocked, and according to the logs, you never have been (at least recently). Check to see if there's an error messages in the FTPc status log.

Doh! I think you mean 80.7.118.243! inktomi4-mid.server.ntl.com (62.254.64.7) is some kind of upstream web cache NTL employs, and so gives a bad result on those "what's your IP" pages; pc3-stoc4-5-cust243.midd.cable.ntl.com, which is the last refused FTP client, is 80.7.118.243.

Okay, try FTPing now...
