I would reply to your last comment, but you appear to have denied anyone the option to reply.
I'll reply here instead with:
Fine, bugger off and stop making the platform look shabby with an out-of-date news site. |

Moaning on forums won't get you anywhere. I think the editors already know that TIB hasn't been updated for a while, though I may be mistaken.

I would reply to your last comment, but you appear to have denied anyone the option to reply. Well, *I* certainly haven't. Must be one of the other editors. I haven't got moderation controls on the forums - you can tell that because I don't have "Moderator" under my name. I'd appreciate it if you didn't accuse me of things I haven't done.
I'll reply here instead with:
Fine, bugger off and stop making the platform look shabby with an out-of-date news site. You appear to be tarring all TIB editors with the same brush. I would point out to you that you can only tell Rich or Tim to "bugger off". I'm not in control of closing down TIB.
Personally, for me, I'm far too busy to do something proper with TIB these days; I already have another site I work on that I do news for and takes up all my time. I *could* find the time to do weak copies of Drobe news items, but that would be pointless. (TIB needs to reposition itself as a resource/articles site, not news - Drobe does that far too well these days.) I retain editor status because there might be something I can do in the future; right at the moment, I simply can't.
There *are* plans in the offing to sort out the situation with TIB; until then, people are just going to have to hold tight.
And again, I'd point out you simply *can't* tell people what to do with their spare time. Well, you can have a good go, but it's just going to breed resentment. I don't tell Drobe how to run things, people don't tell me how to run Ganymede and Titan; nobody has a right to tell TIB people how to run things either.
Incidentally, I'd argue that an out-of-date news site doesn't make a platform look shabby. After all, there are plenty of outdated Red Dwarf sites around - do they make the programme look shabby? Out of date websites are par-for-the-course on the net; everyone sensible knows that.

Fine, bugger off and stop making the platform look shabby with an out-of-date news site. G0tey, can you say "unhealthy obsession" ?

I'd appreciate it if you didn't accuse me of things I haven't done. Chill out
I would point out to you that you can only tell Rich or Tim to "bugger off." And I wouldn't do that!
Personally, for me, I'm far too busy to do something proper with TIB these days; Busy writing long replies to grumpy ranting oppositionophiles
until then, people are just going to have to hold tight. I'd imagine that g0tai's quite adept at that
After all, there are plenty of outdated Red Dwarf sites around - do they make the programme look shabby? That's not a fair comparison - RD already looks shabby. |
