WHEN IS IT COMING BACK???
I've had major difficulties with it - certain MT plugins that I desperately need just don't seem to work on the Pepperfish server, and I've no idea why.

noisetosignal.org has just moved to another server - I'm working on it later tonight.

Should be launching later tonight, or tomorrow night.

It's pretty much ready - just need to fix some errors, and get it approved by the others.

Launched :)

I've got an awful feeling that it won't look good in Netsurf, though.

Ouch. That's worse than I was expecting. I didn't think the Search box would be positioned right, as it uses absolute positioning that I don't think Netsurf supports - but I expected it to get they grey box underneath the masthead right, with the selected articles in.

I wonder how much of it is CSS that Netsurf doesn't support, and how much is my dodgy browser assumptions :|

:(

No warnings from my PC, and I assume it's able to detect whatever it was that was causing the problems.

Although I have to say that IE did crash numerous times when I was working on my article :o

And.. um.. I think my windows update is broke :P

Try http://www.noisetosignal.org/testindex.php and see if you get any there.

It's just changed servers, so it's possible that has fixed the problem...

No warnings or anything. And it hasn't crashed yet, but the crashing wasn't very predictable anyway.

No, just the crashing :|

Remember to go comment on my artic0l. And then rush out and buy a ghibli DVD. Unless you've already seen one, in which case you should of course comment about what you thought of it. :)

Yay :)

What James H said about me focusing too much on the animation is true.

It's a case of story + animation + music = win. Trying to determine how important each component is is pointless.

It's a very nice article :) Can't wait for your next one.

I'll definitely buy some stuff based on your recommendations. But I'm currently on a DVD-buying freeze at the moment (that's *literally* a complete freeze), and have been for the last couple of months. I've promised myself I'll buy some new DVDs when I get my next pay cheque again...

I recently left my job at makro in order to try and make my living as a full-time freelance web designer. At some point I might even achieve this goal. Until then, I'm mainly just sitting around wanking.
So that could be some time, then? :P

A couple of days ago, I spent aaages finely honing a comment on the article:

http://www.noisetosignal.org/music/2008/04/why-dear-god-why.php

and it was AWESOME. But apparently it is still "awaiting approval" (or worse, has been rejected) by a moderator, because it still hasn't appeared on the page.

What's not to approve? unhappy
