Anybody know anything about the ARM version of mame? I keep getting the following error when I try to run it on my strongARM :

Internal error, abort on data transfer at &0000807C.

I think its all set up OK.

MAME requires a decent wodge of RAM so you need to increase your wimpslot value before you run. (several MB should do I think - it will depend on game). A few MBs larger than the uncompressed romset size should be alright.

There were some frontends around - however they may be hard to source since the MAME port really is rather dated now.

Hope that helps.
