Hi, i just got given an Acorn computer from my old college to use a program called sibylasis (its a music score program) I was only given the comptuer itself. I tried to plug it into my PC Monitor and all i got was a very distorted picture which was jumping around, now im assuming that it didnt have the right resoultion to work. Am i on the right lines? Also if i do need a monitor for the acorn where can i get one from? + Games ( just because i used to love Twinworld when i was a kid!) Cheers. if you could email me at davidmastrocola@hotmail.com id be really apprecative.
Dave

Hi Dave,
I see no reason why the monitor shouldn't work, as my old PC monitor works fine with my RISC PC.You might want to check the lead is in good condition, and that the monitor is capable of displaying whatever resolution your Acorn is.

It would be helpfull if you could give the System Specs of your monitor, and your Acorn computer itself.

You might also want to try The Icon Bars Hardware Forum where there are people who know a lot more than me on this subject tongue

Hope that was of some help
