I think it would _really_ be a nice effort to make a MMORG client on ROS.
Regarding the capabilities of the system, I was thinking along the lines of the OpenSource WorldForge..
Check out http://www.worldforge.org/

Graphically similar to TEK, except with network possibilities..

MMORPG client... not such a bad idea... it would certainly be simpler than writing & supporting an entire MMORPG from scratch.
