Is work progressing on ID and TEK and we will be seeing both in the near future on RISC OS?

As far as I am aware work is progressing on many different fronts. Certainly I've been busy on TEK recently creating a fast attack tank, which looks quite nice. However, as I'm only a lowly graphic artist I can't comment on how things are progressing on other fronts. I do know Jan is on holiday ATM.

I'm afraid I'm just as much in the dark about ID as anyone else.

Jan has said that ID will only be released for RISC OS if TEK sells well and ID generates funds. However, who knows what's happened to ID now?

Hi,

As soon as we have eliminated the three major bugs, we are going to release a short playable TEK demo. Further news will be available via our website www.artexsoft.com/tek shortly. (There'll be a new screenshot too)

Concerning ID, work is going on, but release the has been delayed once more due to some new circumstances. I can't say much about this right now, only that ID will definitely be released within the next three or four months for the PC, and what happens afterwards depends on the publisher and the success of both TEK and ID (obviously).

Cheers,
Jan Klose

Hi again,

Realistically, I can only see ID being released for the PC platform, at least until we see some hardware upgrades for RISC OS.
However, I would be extremely disappointed if we couldn't see a cut-down version of Iron Dignity for RISC OS at some point in the near future after the PC release.
I would love to interact with the ID world even if in a limited form and it would still push the standard of RISC OS games foward.
I also suspect that the latest Kinetic machines from Castle would cope quite impressively with the game in it's present form.

So, please don't give up on us yet.

Andrew
